Billy + Chelsey's fall weddings at Hidden Valley Animal Adventure were among my favorite wedding photography session days of the 2019 wedding season. All day, I just kept saying- "this is just a perfect day." The weather was perfect, everyone was in a great mood, and the whole day ran on time. Guys, that is a dream day!
Anyone who has seen Bill and Chelsey together knows they are a perfect match. The way they complement each other and giggle together makes my heart so happy.
Chelsey is one of the most loving people I have ever met. She genuinely cares about everyone she meets, always has a smile on her face, and makes everything feel natural. This made creating beautiful photography images for her fantastic day so easy.
Bill is a man of few words, but he always smiles and makes everyone feel welcome. There is much to appreciate about his character, and I am so lucky to have the opportunity to capture their perfect day. He is the type of person that makes you feel welcomed.
Chelsey's dress was amazing! It was the perfect wedding dress to take photos of, and it felt so magical down the aisle. The bridesmaid's dresses were a gorgeous green, perfect for fall wedding photos. All of the flowers rarely show up on time, but everything from bouquets, to centerpieces, looked beautiful!
Hidden Valley Animal Adventure is a unique wedding venue located in Varysburg, NY. The park sits on 63 acres of land and is home to over 350 animals. Anyone whose been there can say how memorable the experience is. The venue can accommodate weddings of all sizes, making it perfect for their wedding.

So I want to take THIS week as an opportunity to connect with you outside of the holidays and being bombarded by a million ads and get vulnerable with you.
To ask you…
How can you give yourselves MORE pleasure, DEEPER intimacy, and LESS stress?
Does this look like more time spent in nature or slowly sipping on a warm cup of tea, tasting and feeling every sweet drop on your tongue. Or maybe it's completely changing your perspective from "I have to" to "I get to" when you are doing the chores or tasks you loath. Or, could it be choosing to let go of the friend and family that give you the most drama and heavy heart.
I did just this. Last year, I made a commitment to myself- and it was a really big one!
I decided I would no longer live with the thorn of guilty and shame around my lack of intimacy and sexuality.
Yeah, you might be surprised by that one.
But, this thorn was so cork screwed inside of me that I cried at the thought of it being gone, Bc I had no idea what it would feel like to live without it.
Isn’t that crazy?! It was almost more comfortable to live with the discomfort than to remove it.
WILD
And I’ll tell you now, a year later- that the hardest part of all this was the CHOICE to no longer live with the guilt, shame, and trauma of intimacy and my sexuality.
It took me committing to this YES in order to crack wide open and completely surrendered to my pleasure and desires. All while also removing any of the guilt I carried for being a sexual being.
