Love is an extraordinary journey that often leads us to unexpected places. For Erin and Denzil, their journey of love evolved against the backdrop of a sunny summer day in July 2019. We had the pleasure of capturing their beautiful wedding, which took place at the charming St. Joseph's University Parish on Main Street in Buffalo, followed by a reception at the breathtaking Terrace in Delaware Park. Erin and Denzil's love story began in a serendipitous manner, as they first crossed paths at a meet-up event held at the vibrant Big Ditch Brewing Company. It didn't take long for their connection to deepen, and soon enough, they became inseparable. The warmth and joy that emanated from their bond were evident in every moment we captured.
The wedding ceremony took place at the historic St. Joseph's University Parish, where Erin and Denzil exchanged heartfelt vows in front of their loved ones. The air was filled with anticipation and love as they embarked on their journey as a married couple. After the ceremony, the newlyweds and their bridal party embarked on a delightful adventure through the city, capturing unforgettable memories at some of Buffalo's most iconic locations.
The streets of Hertel Avenue came alive as we paused traffic to capture the couple's love in front of the renowned North Park Theater, an emblem of the city's vibrant arts scene. As they posed against the colorful Hertel murals, their infectious laughter and genuine affection shone through each frame, creating timeless images that truly reflected their personalities.
Seeking a moment of tranquility amidst the excitement of the day, Erin and Denzil made a stop at Hoyt Lake, located at 199 Lincoln Parkway. With the sun casting a golden glow upon the water, they shared a romantic canoe trip, embracing the serenity of the surroundings. The AKG Art Museum, formerly known as the Albright Knox Art Gallery, served as another picturesque backdrop for their portraits, adding a touch of sophistication to their collection of photographs.
The Terrace at Delaware Park provided the grand finale for Erin and Denzil's celebration. With its breathtaking views, lush greenery, and timeless elegance, it was the perfect setting to continue their love story with family and friends. From heartfelt speeches to lively dance moves, every moment was filled with joy, creating memories that will last a lifetime.

So I want to take THIS week as an opportunity to connect with you outside of the holidays and being bombarded by a million ads and get vulnerable with you.
To ask you…
How can you give yourselves MORE pleasure, DEEPER intimacy, and LESS stress?
Does this look like more time spent in nature or slowly sipping on a warm cup of tea, tasting and feeling every sweet drop on your tongue. Or maybe it's completely changing your perspective from "I have to" to "I get to" when you are doing the chores or tasks you loath. Or, could it be choosing to let go of the friend and family that give you the most drama and heavy heart.
I did just this. Last year, I made a commitment to myself- and it was a really big one!
I decided I would no longer live with the thorn of guilty and shame around my lack of intimacy and sexuality.
Yeah, you might be surprised by that one.
But, this thorn was so cork screwed inside of me that I cried at the thought of it being gone, Bc I had no idea what it would feel like to live without it.
Isn’t that crazy?! It was almost more comfortable to live with the discomfort than to remove it.
WILD
And I’ll tell you now, a year later- that the hardest part of all this was the CHOICE to no longer live with the guilt, shame, and trauma of intimacy and my sexuality.
It took me committing to this YES in order to crack wide open and completely surrendered to my pleasure and desires. All while also removing any of the guilt I carried for being a sexual being.
